The recent announcements in the media and other sources of the closing of the “Aid For Women” abortion clinic in Kansas City, KS comes as great news for all who pray for the day that abortion will end in our state and country. Credit can obviously be given to many groups and organizations who fight in their way to end this holocaust. But those deserving our greatest expression of appreciation are those who are willing to stand their ground at the ‘gates of hell’ in front of the abortion mills.
These are the committed few who stand hour after hour praying and hoping for the opportunity to help a distressed mother understand the horrific decision she is about to make. These are the missionaries, usually not supported by their churches, who offer the only truly lifesaving option to the mother and the child. They offer face to face, eye to eye, and heart to heart assistance to people who have come to believe that killing their unborn child is the only option left to them.
Thank you to all of the sidewalk counselors who stand outside the abortion clinic day in and day out offering help and the love of Jesus. To God be the glory of the things you have done. If we all stood with you, what a day of rejoicing it would be. The end of child sacrifice!
