Who has the final authority? (The Bema Seat)

Sometimes when the Supreme Court is mentioned it is followed by the phrase, “the highest court in the land.” Meaning there is no higher court. At one time here in America ‘the court of public opinion’ was considered higher, but not anymore.

Sometimes people will say that abortion is right because it is legal and for them that ends the discussion. So, if the Supreme Court says some act perpetrated on another living human being is legal, it is by definition right. Knowing how laws change over time, it means that what is right is relative.

But if your Supreme Court is not limited to 9 black robed judges’ holding court in Washington, D.C. you may see decisions about right and wrong differently.

Second Corinthians 5:10 tells us, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that one may receive what is due him for things done while in the body, weather good or bad.”

Christians who have been a voice for babies in the womb have been told for years that they should not take on the Supreme Court because it is in fact ‘the highest court in the land’ and the consequences could make matters worse.

As my time on earth quickly comes to an end, I am far more concerned about the difficulty of explaining to the Supreme Court of God how 57,000,000 of his children could be destroyed on my watch.

If you are like me, tell your district Representative and Senator that you want to them to a co-sponsor of the Personhood Amendment lead by Rep. Randy Garber of Sabetha.
