Endorsements for Personhood Kansas
Human life starts at the beginning of our biological development, and all human beings should be afforded the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as stated in the Declaration of Independence.
The advancement of a Personhood Amendment to the Kansas State Constitution provides protection to the unborn child and the often unsupported mother at critical points in their lives. As a church we are committed to provide care for children and parents as part of a future vision when abortion will be a sad, but distant memory for America.
I am excited about what you are doing, and I enthusiastically support the efforts of all of the people in Kansas to recognize the little preborn boys and girls as “persons” with the same rights guaranteed to all Kansas citizens.
Walter Hoye II
I believe all human beings are due equal protection under the law. Personhood Kansas understands this and is working towards the day when all human beings are protected by both love and law. This is why Personhood Kansas has my full support.
Robert Rotola, Sr.
Now is an opportune time to pursue a Personhood Amendment in Kansas as recent national events have once again renewed public dialogue regarding abortion in this country. We were born for such a time as this. (Esther 4:14) I encourage everyone who is pro-life to support the Personhood Amendment.
When you can say you are pro-life without exeption, it's like saying, 'I get it--you matter. Yours was a life worth saving!' Now, I hope you'll go forth and do the same for others by supporting the Kansas Personhood Amendment. Let's get this done.
John Seiler, Jr.
We fully and wholeheartedly support Personhood Kansas in their endeavor to get a personhood amendment adopted protecting all human lives from their biological beginning until their natural death. May the Holy Spirit guide them along the way.
Personhood is about accepting reality. Everyone who has had basic biology knows that an unborn child is, from day-one, a human being. Everyone except some members of the judiciary knows that all human beings are indeed persons. Personhood Kansas is all about bringing Kansas law in line with reality.
The agenda of Personhood Kansas honors the right to life in a way that does honor God. As Christians we are called to have a loving voice that supports the unborn child. I think all Christians, who live according to God’s Word, should sign the petition for Personhood Kansas to help support pro-life legislation in our state.
There was a time when children were considered a supreme blessing of a marriage rather than a burden to society. No baby should be a benchmark or luxury or right. Every child must be loved, cherished, and nurtured from the moment of conception. One need not have a lot of money to raise a child, only true love. Love for the whole human race will bring us back and redeem our lives from the pit. The Personhood movement will help us remember how to love one another.
Biology, medicine, science, philosophy, and ethics all point to the undeniable fact that once a human egg and seed unite, the one-celled entity becomes a unique person. The Supreme Court of the United States recognized the flaw in their argument — that once personhood could be proven, Roe V. Wade disintegrates. Operation Rescue has fought for two decades to restore the full rights and personhood to every pre-born child. Operation Rescue applauds all those who echo these efforts.
